After almost a decade together, the Collingwood Football Club and Lexus Australia have amicably parted ways to avail themselves of other opportunities.

The two joined forces in 2003 and over the seasons shared in a journey that saw both grow remarkably; Collingwood play in four Grand Finals and win the 2010 Premiership, while Lexus continued to post steady growth over the 10 year partnership.

Lexus Australia was a Premier Partner of Collingwood’s for six years and a Major Partner for three more. Lexus was the original sponsor of Collingwood’s newly established head office in the Olympic Park Precinct, creating the iconic Lexus Centre home base.

“I would like to thank the team at Lexus for what has been a high profile and mutually beneficial partnership. Lexus is an extremely professional organisation that has been a great supporter of the Collingwood Football Club, and I hope the team at Lexus feel that Collingwood has played a key role in helping establish Lexus as one of Australia’s leading luxury car brands,” Collingwood Chief Executive, Gary Pert, said.

Former Chief Executive for Lexus Australia, Tony Cramb, said that Lexus' 10 year involvement with Collingwood Football Club  witnessed  growth for both organisations.

"From the birth of the industry leading ‘Lexus Centre’  player development training facility, to the way our customers were treated by Collingwood Football Club - our mutual desire was to always be the best at what we do," said Mr Cramb.

"Lexus' 10 year partnership with Collingwood Football Club will always represent a major period of growth for both of us – and one that saw some ?of the most enjoyable football in recent history." said Mr Cramb
