In 2014, the Collingwood Football Club will once again host an annual charity Christmas lunch for the homeless and disadvantaged.

Held in a marquee on Victoria Park, the lunch is a great way to celebrate Christmas for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to do so in this fashion.

Together with The Big Group, the club provides a delicious Christmas Day feast for more than 350 people.

Christmas presents are provided for all in attendance, while club President Eddie McGuire will also be on hand to host the lunch. Other Melbourne personalities such as the Lord Mayor also attend each year.

The Big Group has been pivotal and a wonderful assistance for the club in securing a wide range of catering donations for the day.

They have also donated their services on the day (including chefs, waitresses, waiters and more).

“For yet another year, The Big Group is very proud to be part of such a special charity Christmas lunch for those less fortunate," said Bruce Keebaugh, Managing Director of The Big Group.

"It’s an honour that we are able to give something back to the community at this important time.”
