The President, Board, Staff, Players and Members of the Collingwood Football Club would like to express their sadness at the passing of a great servant and treasured friend, Nuno D’Aquino.

Nuno made a wonderful contribution to our club as a Vice-President, Board Member and Patron over many years.

Nuno was appointed to the club’s Board in 2000 after six years as Managing Director of Foster’s Carlton & United Breweries business.

At the time of his appointment, President Eddie McGuire labelled him “one of the football boardroom recruits of the year”.

He retired from the Board on the eve of the 2004 season after playing a key role in Collingwood’s resurgence as an AFL powerhouse and assisting with the club’s move to the Olympic Park precinct.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Bev and the D’Aquino family.

Side By Side We Stick Together.
