A total of five Collingwood players are in contention to figure in the AFL Players' Association's 22 Under 22 Team for season 2015.

Taylor Adams, Jack Crisp, Brodie Grundy, Tom Langdon and Marley Williams are all among the 47 nominees for the elite junior team of the year.

Now in its third year, the 22 Under 22 concept was introduced by the AFL Players' Association to recognise the best young talent in the competition, as decided by the fans.

To be eligible for the team, players must be aged 22 or younger on Grand Final day (3 October 2015).

But the team is only half finished.

The final 22 Under 22 team is to be decided by fans, with the AFL Players’ Association requiring fans to cast their votes by liking the AFL Players’ Facebook page and selecting a 22 Under 22 team from the 47-man squad.

Only Greater Western Sydney (six players) has a greater representation of players than Collingwood in the 22 Under 22 squad. The Western Bulldogs is the other club to have five players nominated.

The final 22Under22 team will be announced at the AFL Players’ MVP Awards on Tuesday, September 15. Voting closes on Wednesday 9 September.
