A new day, new uniforms and new pre-season. The only thing missing was new players.

Collingwood's first-to-fourth year players hit the training track on Monday morning for the first day of pre-season training.

Varying lengths of time spent at other clubs made new recruits Daniel Wells, Chris MayneWill Hoskin-Elliott and Lynden Dunn exempt from training, yet a number of others couldn't wait to get started.

Scott Pendlebury, Jamie Elliott, Brodie Grundy and Taylor Adams were among senior players who joined their younger teammates on day one. 

The Pies were on the Olympic Park Oval for roughly 90 minutes on an overcast Melbourne morning. Check out the best photos from the session in the gallery below.
