The President, Board, staff and members of the Collingwood Football Club would like to express their sadness at the passing of former player Laurie Rymer.

Recruited from Somerville, Rymer played 25 games for Collingwood between 1955 and 1957. He was named ruck-rover in the club’s Grand Final side against Melbourne in 1956.

He played seven senior games the following year, his final match coming against North Melbourne at Victoria Park in round 17.

The club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Rymer family.
