Brodie Grundy was the universal coaches' choice for best on ground in the Pies' loss to Richmond on Saturday.

Grundy, who finished what was his 100th AFL game with 23 disposals and 48 hit-outs, received 10 votes in the AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year award for his effort.

Scott Pendlebury was the other Collingwood player to feature among the votes.

Grundy has now overtaken Steele Sidebottom as the highest Magpies player on the overall leaderboard.
