Collingwood has named one change for Saturday’s Round 16 clash against Richmond at the MCG.
As Senior Coach Craig McRae announced in his press conference on Thursday morning, Magpies veteran Scott Pendlebury will return after he was managed for last week’s win over Port Adelaide.
The 38-year-old will line up for the 436th time and his 25th time facing the Tigers in his career, where he’ll be seeking his 15th win against the cross-town rivals.
From his 10 matches in 2026, Pendlebury is averaging 24.1 disposals per game – his most since his All-Australian-rewarded 2019 season when he collected 27.3 per match.
After playing the last two matches, mid-season draftee Mitch Podhajski has been omitted.
Podhajski will be joined by fellow mid-season recruit Liam Puncher and midfielder Harry DeMattia as the emergencies for Saturday’s clash.
The match is set for Saturday afternoon at 4:15pm (AEST) at the MCG. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports.
