Given the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated Government regulations, the information below is subject to change.

Ticketing Process for Members with Reserved Seat Access

From Round 10, members with reserved seat access will be able to sit in their allocated membership seats.

This means that the weekly ticket redemption process that was in place for Rounds 1-8 is no longer applicable to members with reserved seat access to the game in question.

While this is a welcome step closer to normality, things will continue to look a little different to usual.

Entry Gate
Members with reserved seat access have one specific gate for entry into the stadium.

Each stadium is split into ‘zones’ to support COVID-19 contact tracing. All ticket holders must enter and remain in their designated zone throughout the entire match.

Please note that this may not be the gate through which you would usually enter the venue.

Your designated gate is noted on your mobile membership card (see ‘Mobile Membership Cards’ section below) so please check this carefully before heading to the match.

Mobile Membership Cards

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, members with reserved seat access will be granted access to matches via a mobile membership card only.

In previous years, your membership card was printed with a barcode, and you would have simply headed to a match and scanned in at the turnstiles.

In 2021, with government-approved COVID-safe plans requiring that venues are divided in to ‘zones’, members must now enter the venue through a specific gate, which has changed how barcodes are generated. This gate number features on digital membership cards, but is not printed on physical membership cards.

There are additional benefits to digital ticketing; it allows the league to adapt to fixture changes across the season, and members no longer have to wait to receive their card before they can go to a game.

With that in mind, we want to remind you that any plastic membership cards previously provided to members cannot be used to gain access to matches.

Follow these steps to access your digital membership card:

Step 1: Download and open the Official Collingwood app. Step 2: Select 'More' to open the side menu
Step 3: Select 'MyMagpies Account'. Step 4: Log in to you MyMagpies account using your email and password
Step 5: Select the game in question. Once the ticket is live, you will be able to select 'View Barcode', then click 'Add to Wallet' to easily access your ticket when you arrive at the game. Step 6: Scan the barcode when entering the venue. Note the Gate Number on your digital ticket; this is the only gate that you will be able to enter when you arrive at the game. Please note: the barcode will only be viewable approximately 48 before the match in question.

Please note:
- General admission members do not have a mobile membership card.
- Members with a combination of reserved seat and general admission access will only have digital tickets corresponding to the games for which they have reserved seat access.
(See section below for more detail)

I have linked accounts – how do I find their mobile membership cards?

  1. Log in to your MyMagpies account;

  3. Select ‘switch accounts’;
  4. Select the name/membership number of the account you’d like to move in to;

Can I use a screenshot of the barcode to get in?
Yes, you are able to take a screenshot of a barcode and save it to your phone so you’re ready to go ahead of the game.

However, to ensure that we have accurate contact details of each ticket holder, please don’t send screenshots to anybody else. If you need to update contact details or transfer your Reserved Seat to someone else, please contact our Membership Team on 1300 MAGPIE (62 47 43).

Can I print a copy of my digital membership card to get in?
Although we advise against it, it is possible to print a screenshot of your digital membership card(s) for a given match.

Just ensure that you use a high quality screenshot to avoid any issues at the turnstiles.

It’s important to familiarise yourself with steps to access your digital membership card just in case you have any issues with or lose your printed ticket

I do not own a Smart Phone. What can I do?
If you do not have a Smart Phone, please contact our Membership Team on 1300 MAGPIE (62 47 43).

Alternatively, check out the section above to see if printing your ticket is a viable option for you.

Will I still receive a physical 2021 membership card?
Yes! All 2021 members have been sent a commemorative 2021 membership card.

Reserved Bay & General Admission Access

For members with reserved bay or general admission access, ticketing will continue to be run on a game-by-game basis.

Once tickets become available for a given round, members will be able to use their membership barcode number(s) to redeem their $0 or upgraded ticket(s).

This process is run through the relevant ticketing agency (e.g. Ticketek for MCG games), so at no stage will you need to send any seating requests to the Club directly.

Once details of each round are confirmed by the AFL we will communicate further information to members with the specific ticketing details.

Please note that no paper tickets will be issued for these games. All tickets will be digital and accessible through your Ticketek/Ticketmaster accounts (not MyMagpies).

To comply with Victoria State Government COVID-19 guidelines for AFL matches at the MCG and Marvel Stadium, you must now provide the contact details for all ticket holders in your group at the time of purchase.

When booking tickets for our matches, please have the contact details ready for all attendees in your group before you book.

Why do I need to provide additional contact details at the time of booking?
To comply with Victoria State Government COVID-19 guidelines and enhance the effort to support contract tracing for AFL matches you must now provide the contact details for all ticket holders in your group at the time of purchase.

What if there is a child in my group who doesn’t have a mobile phone?
Simply enter the child’s name and your mobile number for any dependents.

Where can I access and view all of my tickets after purchase?
Ticket owners can view all the tickets in your order through the ticket agent App or website

Can I share tickets with the other attendees?
Yes, ticket owners can (and should) forward tickets after purchase using the ticket agent app or website.

If you are unable to complete the ticket-redemption process online, you are welcome to call Ticketek (MCG games) or Ticketmaster (Marvel Stadium games) on the dedicated assistance lines below:

Ticketek: 1300 665 915 (9:00am – 5:00pm, Mon-Sat)
Ticketmaster: 1300 883 622 (9:00am – 5:00pm, weekdays and weekends)

Member Ticket Windows

Members with reserved bay and general admission access will be able to redeem tickets ahead of the general public during a designated ticketing window, roughly two weeks before the game in question.

All AFL teams are employing a similar process for their games in Melbourne.

The exact process and timings for each round will be communicated once available.

Members with reserved seat access can use their mobile membership card, and therefore will not have access to these ticketing windows.

ROUND 11 & 12
Unfortunately, the Round 11 & 12 ticketing windows have been postponed indefinitely due to the recent COVID-19 cases in Victoria.

We will keep members updated with information on this front as details are confirmed by the AFL.

At the time of writing, our games in Round 11 & 12 are proceeding as scheduled and there has been no confirmed change to member or fans access.

Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Finding Your Barcode Number(s)

Your membership barcode number is no longer printed on your membership card. This is because AFL ticketing has gone digital for the 2021 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Click here to view your barcode number in your MyMagpies account. This barcode should be the same across all games that you have access to, although it is subject to change given the nature of ticketing in the pandemic.

To log into MyMagpies you generally require a unique email address in your Collingwood FC account, i.e. multiple members can’t share the same email address to log in.

To be clear, members will only need to redeem tickets for games with a reduced crowd-capacity. Members will not need to undertake this process once games return to full capacity.

Children, dependants, or other members who do not have a unique email address can be linked to another member’s account. For example, children’s accounts can be linked through to a single parent or guardian.

Many members will already be linked to their associated accounts. To switch between linked accounts, follow these steps:

  1. sign in to the main member’s MyMagpies account;
  2. select ‘switch accounts’ from the drop-down menu in the top-right hand corner of the dashboard;
  3. select the name/membership number of the account you’d like to view.

To provide a unique email address, or to link accounts, please contact the membership team using the details below.

Additional Ticketing Information

Tickets for groups:
Members will have the opportunity to register for tickets using the barcode numbers of multiple members to ensure that they are all seated together. There will be a 'transaction limit' of ten (10) tickets.

For a group to have seats allocated together their tickets must be booked in the same order.

Booking fees:
No Ticketek or Ticketmaster booking fee will be charged for 'transactions' that include only $0 member tickets.

A booking fee will be charged if guest tickets are purchased along with $0 member tickets, and/or if a GA ticket is upgraded to a discounted reserved seat.

Accessible Seating:
Members who have specific seating requirements due to a medical condition are welcome to contact the Ticketek or Ticketmaster accessibility hotline to organise suitable seats.

Ticketek: 1300 665 915 (9:00am – 5:00pm, Mon-Sat)
Ticketmaster: 1300 883 622 (9:00am – 5:00pm, weekdays and weekends)

How are tickets issued?
Please note that no paper tickets will be issued for these games. All tickets will be digital and accessible through your Ticketek/Ticketmaster accounts (not MyMagpies).

To set up these accounts (if you haven’t already), click here for Ticketek and here for Ticketmaster.

AFL members with Club Support:
Because AFL member ticketing is handled through AFL Membership Services (as opposed to through the Club directly) please note that the information on this web-page may not apply to you. Please contact AFL Membership Services for information specific to your membership.

Fixture & Timing Changes

We will continue to be led by the State Government and health officials on the capacity at venues during the 2021 AFLW and AFL seasons.

Given the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated government regulations, please keep in mind that the information on this web-page is subject to change.

We will do our best to communicate ticketing information to members at the earliest opportunity, but it’s important to note that last-minute changes may occur.

We appreciate your patience and understanding here.
