Collingwood has had a positive result from the weekend with no injuries surfacing from the win over Carlton.

Defender Will Kelly edges close to a return from a hip issue and will aim to fully train this week in order to put his hand up for selection.

Brodie Grundy's surgeon review was successful, the ruckman now able to complete lower body work in the gym. Grundy will remain in the knee brace for two weeks before starting a running program.

Ash Johnson will begin full training this week. The 24-year-old is set to target a return through the VFL before the bye.

Similarly, Charlie Dean is starting to join some full training drills. The new recruit should be available after the bye round.

Defender Jack Madgen is making good steps in the early phase of his shoulder rehabilitation. He will look to be ready for a senior return in round 15.
