Young Irish star Ellie Brady’s AFLW debut has been confirmed as part of three inclusions to the Pies’ extended squad for their final game of 2026.

The 20-year-old was signed out of Ballyhaise in Ireland at the end of last year’s campaign and has worked towards her maiden game across this season.

Standing at 179cm tall, Brady played five VFLW games earlier in 2026 and kicked two goals.

The Gaelic football convert is the black and white’s 13th debutant of the season as the young side continues to grow.

Brady is joined by Charlotte Brewer and Amy Smith as inclusions in Sunday’s squad for the clash with Essendon, with the final team set to be announced at 5pm on Friday.

The hit out against the Bombers at Windy Hill will see both clubs vying for their second win of year in an effort to close out the season on a high.

The first ball up is scheduled for 1:05pm.
