Eight individual goal kickers and a team effort across the ground, the Pies were too strong for the Lions.

Whilst the Lions had 40 more disposals than the Pies, Collingwood dominated the inside 50s 64-36, ultimately winning them the match.

The defensive pressure was huge, only allowing two goals against them for the match.

Ollie Henry kicked the first major for the match, beginning his big day out in the forward line. Ending the day with seven goals, he earnt himself the player of the match.

With a margin of over 100 points, the Pies looked impressive all day.

Mason Cox was dominant with seven marks and three goals for the day. Appearing in the ruck too, he was in great form all throughout the ground.

Cooper Murley also impressed with his best game for the Pies since his debut, with two goals and 15 disposals for the day.

Caleb Poulter, Campbell Hustwaite, Campbell Lane and Finlay Macrae all starred in the win too, working hard all day to produce the score that was.

Sam Fowler also dominated with nine inside-50s, and Trey Ruscoe was important in the forward line.

The Pies will look to continue their momentum after the bye next week, and play their next game Saturday 14 May, 2:05pm at the AIA Centre; a double header with the VFLW against the Western Bulldogs.
