With a huge team effort across the ground, the Pies fired up after half time and were back playing the brand of footy they have all year.

Nathan Murphy made his return to footy after an ankle injury sustained in the AFL pre-season match against Greater Western Sydney.

Murphy finished with 20 disposals and twelve marks and was influential in the backline. He earned himself the Player of the Match with his strong return.

Playing his player/coach role, Neville Jetta was on fire across the ground finishing with 22 disposals and 10 marks.

Jacob Booth and Jack Raines were strong in the forward line, scoring three goals each.

The seven goal to one last quarter was more than enough to come out on top against the Bulldogs.

Sam Fowler, Lachlan Tardrew finished with two goals and Murley and Wellings with one.

Chad Mulvogue also scored a goal in his debut in a solid performance.

Mason Cox had a strong performance across the ground, with 47 hit outs, seven marks and 19 disposals.

Collingwood’s VFL team have another bye this weekend and will take on Werribee in round ten.
