A blockbuster week of Collingwood action is underway, with the Pies' VFLW team kicking off the first of four big matches ahead of the crescendo on Tuesday afternoon. 

This week Collingwood pays tribute to the sacrifices of the service men and women of Australia and celebrates the ANZAC spirit. 

206 Collingwood players served across WWI (61) and WWII (145). 10 did not return. 

Each of these men wore the Collingwood jumper at some time in their lives, either prior or post war.

VFLW - COLLINGWOOD v ESSENDON

Essendon were too strong for the Pies' VFLW team on Saturday, winning their Round Five clash by 16-points at Victoria Park. 

Collingwood are currently placed fourth on the VFLW ladder, with three wins and two losses in season 2023 to date.

VFL - COLLINGWOOD v ESSENDON

Sunday's VFL clash against Essendon will be a must watch for all Collingwood fans, with Essendon (7th) and Collingwood (8th) sitting on two wins a piece.

SUNCORP SUPER NETBALL - COLLINGWOOD v SUNSHINE COAST LIGHTNING

Taking centre stage first on Tuesday will be Collingwood's Super Netball Team, who are featuring in the inaugural Suncorp Super Netball ANZAC Day match. 

The first centre pass will be at 1pm, with the Magpies taking on the Sunshine Coast Lightning at John Cain Arena.

AFL - COLLINGWOOD v ESSENDON

The last of four Collingwood matches commences at the Melbourne Cricket Ground at 3.20pm on Tuesday afternoon. 

2023 marks the first time since 2000 that both Collingwood and Essendon enter ANZAC Day positioned in the top four on the AFL ladder.

The highly anticipated 28th ANZAC Day AFL match is bigger than just a game of football. It provides a time to reflect and thank those who have served for our country. 

The match has been sold out, with over 90,000 fans expected at the MCG.
