A Collingwood trio in John Noble, Beau McCreery and Jakob Ryan have penned new deals with the Club.

Noble has signed a new three-year contract which will see him remain in the black-and-white stripes until 2026 while McCreery has put pen to paper signing a three-year contract extension to remain a Magpie until at least the end of 2027.

Jakob Ryan has also signed a two-year extension to remain at Collingwood until at least the end of 2026.

Selected by Collingwood with Pick 14 in the 2019 Mid-Season Rookie Draft, Noble went on to make his AFL debut in Round 17 that same year.

Across his five seasons as a Magpie, the 26-year-old defender has run out for a total of 87 games.

Known for his reliability and consistency down back, Noble has played all but one game for the Pies this season.

Since his debut in Round Three of the 2021 season, McCreery has played 53 games for Collingwood.

The 22-year-old tackling-machine has established himself as a pressure forward who can contribute on the scoreboard having kicked a total of 37 goals.

Drafted to the Pies with Pick 28 in the 2022 National AFL Draft, 18-year-old Ryan has made a solid contribution to the side’s VFL team.

While he is yet to make his AFL debut, the young defender has impressed during his time in the AFL environment.

Collingwood’s General Manager of Football Graham Wright commended the trio’s dedication to the Club.

“We’re pleased to see John, Beau and Jakob re-commit to our Club,” Wright said.

“It’s been great to watch John’s journey after missing under-age drafts and being selected as a Mid-Season Rookie a few years ago.

“Equally exciting has been Beau’s development, becoming a key contributor for our AFL side with his trademark pressure and ability to kick goals.

“Both John and Beau have established themselves as key contributors for our AFL side and we’re excited to see them continue this next chapter of their respective football careers with us.

“Jakob is an exciting young talent who has impressed in his short time with us so far. The commitment he displays towards his ongoing development is resulting in improvement each week and we look forward to him growing within our environment.”
