Craig McRae has confirmed his side for Friday night’s clash against Geelong at the MCG. Billy Frampton and Will Hoskin-Elliot return to the side, and Jack Ginnivan will start as sub following injuries to Nick Daicos (knee) and Steele Sidebottom (foot). Ash Johnson (omitted) is the other change from the side that took on Hawthorn last Saturday.

Hoskin-Elliot returns after playing his first ever VFL game last week, while Frampton will be injected into the side following two weeks as emergency.

Ginnivan returns to the 23 after consistent performances in the VFL, kicking two goals in each of the last four games.

Craig McRae spoke on the potential return of all three players in Wednesday’s press conference.

“Ginnivan, Will Hoskin-Elliot and Billy Frampton – they were emergencies and you want your emergency close if you need to make decisions. You don’t know what the week is going to present, and this week has been a bit funny, hasn’t it?” McRae said.
