ST KILDA has handed Collingwood it's third loss of the season, defeating the Magpies by 15 points at the MCG.

The Saints kicked 14.10 (94) to the Magpies 12.7 (79), after holding off a final-quarter surge from Collingwood.

Livewire forward Jack Higgins sparked the win with four goals.

Max King added three majors, while Tim Membrey and recruit Liam Henry kicked two each for the Saints.

Captain Jack Steele was central to the Saints' win, racking up 26 touches and 10 tackles, while Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera led the disposal count with 32.

For the Pies, Josh Daicos gathered 29 disposals but brother Nick (22) was well held in his 50th game.

The loss leaves Collingwood without a win in 2024 ahead of a massive Easter Thursday showdown against also-winless Brisbane at the Gabba in a battle between last year's Grand Finalists.
