Collingwood has selected key forward Noah Howes with Pick 15 in the 2025 AFL Mid-Season Draft. Hailing from South Adelaide in the SANFL, Howes stands at 196cm tall.
The 19-year-old tall kicked three goals in his Round 1 SANFL debut against Adelaide earlier this year, and has continued to impress as the season has progressed including another haul of three goals last Sunday against Glenelg.
Howes also kicked three majors in last seasons SANFL Under 18's Grand Final, where his South Adelaide side won the Premiership.
Known for his contested marking and aerial ability, Howes is the second South Australian key-forward drafted by the Pies in successive years after drafting Charlie West in last year's National Draft.
He hails from the same SANFL Club as Beau McCreery, joining a host of other South Australians at Collingwood including Craig McRae, Oleg Markov, Harvey Harrison and Oscar Steene.
National Recruiting Manager discussed selecting the key forward following the draft on Wednesday night.
"He's one of those tall forwards that just works really hard," O'Bree said.
"We feel getting him into a full-time program ... he's only going to get bigger, stronger and fitter.
"We think he'll complement our forward group."
