Collingwood welcomes the 2025 NAB AFL Women’s home-and-away fixture following the AFL’s announcement of the draw this morning.
Announced earlier this month, the Magpies will kick off the 10th AFLW season when they face Carlton on Thursday, August 14 at IKON Park, paying homage to the inaugural AFLW game in 2017.
In a league first 12-Round NAB AFLW home-and-away season, the Magpie Army will enjoy six games at Collingwood’s spiritual home ground at Victoria Park, offering family-friendly afternoon matches.
The Pies will travel interstate twice in Round 8 to Perth to face the West Coast Eagles and to Queensland in Round 11 in a clash with the Gold Coast SUNS.
Collingwood will play across two significant rounds in front of home crowds, Indigenous Round in Round 3 against Melbourne at Victoria Park, honouring past and present First Nations players and umpires, and Pride Round in Round 10 against Richmond which celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community.
Fans can enjoy five games across the screens of Seven network’s free-to-air channels, with the remaining games scheduled across Foxtel and Kayo.
Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly welcomed the 2025 AFLW fixture.
"Today we welcome the 2025 AFLW fixture with a league first 12-Round season – an exciting opportunity for our program and the competition as a whole," Kelly said.
"We’re pleased to return to our spiritual home of Victoria Park for six home games, where the Magpie Army will enjoy family-friendly afternoon matches.
"Led by our Coach Sam Wright and EGM Women’s Football Jess Burger, our AFLW program has started off a strong pre-season and will continue to build toward an exciting season opener against Carlton come August 14th."
