Father-Daughter recruit Violet Patterson will make her AFLW debut this Thursday night in Collingwood’s Round 1 clash with Carlton at IKON Park.
Taken with pick 42 in last year’s AFLW draft, the 19-year-old arrived at the Club her father Stephen played 96 games for.
Growing up in South Australia, Patterson starred for the state during her junior career as a strong runner through the midfield.
She will do the same for the Pies, set to play her first game against the Blues, just as Stephen did in 1995.
