Collingwood Vice-Captain Nick Daicos has been named in the All-Australian team for the third time, selected on the interchange of the 2025 side.
It's the third consecutive year Daicos has been bestowed with the honour, in what is just the 22-year-old's fourth season in the AFL.
Known for his elite football knowledge and versatility, he featured in all home and away games this season, averaging 30.4 disposals, 10.6 contested possessions and eight score involvements per game.
Leading the competition for total disposals with 699, the 22-year-old had a career-high 43 touches in Collingwood’s Round 19 game against Fremantle.
Collingwood’s Executive General Manager of Football Charlie Gardiner congratulated Daicos on the achievement.
“To also be selected in the All-Australian team for a third year in a row is a credit to his consistency and drive to perform at the highest level week in and week out.
“Nick is a tremendous ambassador and leader at our Club and continues to set the standards in our football program.”
Despite missing the final team, Josh Daicos and Jamie Elliott were recognised for their outstanding season with selection in the 44-player squad.
Josh, who played predominantly across half-back this season, averaged 27 disposals, 75.4% disposal efficiency and 516.1 metres gained throughout his 23 outings.
A Collingwood veteran, Elliott kicked a career best of 52 majors, averaged 11.9 disposals and 6.3 score involvements per game.
