Brody Mihocek has informed Collingwood today of his decision to explore a free agency opportunity at Melbourne.
Mihocek, who is an unrestricted free agent, has played 159 games across eight seasons in the black and white.
A key member of Collingwood’s 2023 Premiership, Mihocek has kicked a total of 267 goals and claimed the Gordon Coventry Award as the Club’s leading goal kicker five times.
General Manager of List and Talent Strategy Justin Leppitsch thanked Mihocek for his contribution to the Collingwood Football Club.
“Brody has played a key role within our football program over the past eight years, and we thank him for his contribution to the black and white,” Leppitsch said.
“We respect Brody’s decision to pursue his free agency rights and explore opportunities at Melbourne.
“We wish him, his partner Polly and their son Arthur all the best for this next chapter. As a 2023 Premiership player, Brody will always be a Collingwood person.”
The AFL Free Agency period opened on Friday October 3, with the Continental Trade Period to commence on Monday October 6.
