Collingwood will stick with the same side as last week’s preliminary final when it takes on the Western Bulldogs in the 2019 VFLW Grand Final this Sunday.

The Pies’ secured their spot in the decider having claimed a 14-point victory over the Southern Saints at Adcon Stadium last Sunday.

The minor premiers’ have only noted one major position change with Grace Buchan returning to the halfback as Chloe Molloy makes the move into the forward line.

Pies v Dogs Previous Encounters

The two sides first outing this season was back in round seven where the Pies claimed a smashing 74-point victory in Morwell.

But the Dogs forced their way through towards the second half of the season, winning an elimination final against Richmond before downing the Pies by 12 points in the semi final which ultimately saw them progress through to the decider.

Road to the Grand Final

Having won 14 games throughout the season, the Pies suffered only three losses before going on to be crowned the back-to-back minor premiers. From there, they went on to defeat the Saints in the qualifying final before the semi final loss to the Dogs.

The Dogs finished the home and away season with 12 wins and four losses to see them finish in third positions of the ladder.

Please note the VFL men’s Grand Final will follow the VFLW match, with Richmond v Williamstown to commence at 2.15pm.
