Collingwood AFLW utility Amy Smith will make her debut this Saturday when the Pies take on the Tigers at IKON Park.

Taken with pick 23 in last year’s National Draft, the 18-year-old has quickly impressed since joining the Pies.

Representing the Sandringham Dragons and Vic Metro in the under-18s, Smith showcased quickly her elite foot skills and pin-point accuracy while mostly playing on the wing.

With the ability to float forward and back, Smith’s versatility paired with her overhead marking and strong footy IQ has helped to set her up for success since becoming a Pie in December.

Smith is one of seven debutants already named for Saturday’s clash, with Imogen Trengove and Charlotte Brewer having previously announced to make their AFLW debuts alongside Club debutants Mattea Breed, Ariana Hetherington, Jemma Rigoni and Dom Carbone.

Collingwood’s full team to face Richmond will be released at 6:20pm AEST on Thursday.
