Collingwood’s Executive General Manager of Women’s Football Jess Burger has provided an injury and health update ahead of Collingwood’s Round 2 game against Fremantle at Victoria Park on Sunday afternoon.
NEW UPDATE:
Eliza James
Eliza James sustained a calf injury leading into the week of Round 1. She has commenced her rehabilitation program and will look to return to football in two to three weeks.
ASSESS:
Jordy Allen
Jordy Allen sustained a calf injury during a training session prior to the practice matches. Allen will be assessed this week to determine her availability for Round 2.
Imogen Barnett
Imogen Barnett sustained a minor calf injury during training last week. Barnett will be assessed this week to determine her availability to play.
Lucy Cronin
Lucy Cronin suffered a shoulder incident in the opening minutes of the Pies' Round 1 match against Richmond. She was able to complete the game, however, she will be assessed this week to determine her availability.
Bri Davey
Bri Davey sustained a minor foot injury during the practice game against West Coast. Davey will continue to build her training exposure to determine her availability.
Kalinda Howarth
Kalinda Howarth has successfully returned to training following a calf injury. Howarth will be assessed this week to determine her availability to play against Fremantle this weekend.
Maisie Nankivell
Maisie Nankivell has returned to training following her knee injury. She will be assessed this week at training to determine her availability to play.
UNAVAILABLE:
Lauren Butler
Lauren Butler has continued to progress through her calf rehabilitation. Butler will be expected to be available for selection in one to two weeks.
