AFLW midfield duo Jemma Rigoni and Carly Remmos have recommitted to Collingwood, with the pair signing fresh deals that will see them remain in the black and white.

Already signed on for next year, Rigoni has extended through to the end of 2028, while Remmos has signed on until at least the end of 2027.

Rigoni arrived at Collingwood during last year’s trade period following two seasons with Melbourne.

The 22-year-old has been a consistent part of the Pies’ side in her first season, proving versatility across the backline and through the midfield.

Kicking her first goal in black and white against Geelong in Round 6, she contributed to a strong attacking performance as the Pies recorded their highest score since 2021.

Remmos has also continued to establish herself as an important part of Collingwood’s midfield, with her defensive work and ability to take on different roles becoming key features of her game.

The 24-year-old is currently leading the side in tackles (42), collecting nine in games against both Fremantle and Gold Coast this season.

Collingwood’s Executive General Manager of Women’s Football Jess Burger said:

“Jemma and Carly have both played an important part in our season and we’re pleased to have them both remain at Collingwood,”

“Jemma’s versatility and speed have been a real strength, while Carly has continued to grow and make her mark in the midfield.

“Both have made great progress their craft and we’re excited to see where their football will take them.”
