On day one of the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period, Collingwood has welcomed Jesse Hogan in a trade with GWS GIANTS.

The GIANTS will receive pick 75 in return for Hogan.

A 196cm key forward, Hogan arrives at the Pies with 409 goals to his name from his 190 outings.

The 2024 Coleman Medallist is a challenge for any opposition defender, with his strong marking ability and accuracy in front of goals.

The 31-year-old has built a decorated AFL career, earning All-Australian selection in 2024 and finished as his Club's leading goal kicker on four occasions, including twice at GWS GIANTS and twice at Melbourne.

A West Australian product, Hogan will line up in the black and white alongside his 2026 AFL Origin teammate Darcy Cameron, as well as reuniting with Lachie Schultz, who he shared a forward line with at Fremantle.

In the AFL Origin match, Hogan was presented the Graham Moss Medal as the best on ground for West Australia, with his five goals and 13 disposals a key standout for the Black Swans.

General Manager of List and Talent Strategy Justin Leppitsch said Hogan would be a valuable addition to the KGM Centre.

“His aerial presence inside forward-50 and his consistency as a goal-kicker make him a genuine threat.'

“Like Lachie, Jesse has a passion to teach the next generation and will make a great addition to our Club.”

Hogan joins Lachie Neale as new Magpies, with Neale joining the Club as an Unrestricted Free Agent on Friday.

The 2026 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period opened today and will run through to Wednesday 14 October.
