Collingwood will hand a debut to Category B Rookie Tom Wilson at Victoria Park on Saturday.

The 22-year old last played football in 2013 with Vic Metro at the AFL under-16 championships, before focussing in a basketball career.

Wilson joined the club at the start of last month just weeks after making his debut for the Australian Boomers.

He will finally make his Magpies debut after an eight-week conditioning block.

Wilson’s Collingwood bow will be the second in two weeks for the VFL Pies, who welcomed John Noble to the side for the first time in last week’s win over Footscray.
