Each week join Roy from DT Talk as he dissects the Magpies performance in AFL Fantasyland on collingwoodfc.com.au. With hot players, trade advice and injury updates, Roy will provide all the important info on the men in the black and white.

Last Weeks’ Events

The Pies were on fire and lead by unlikely hero Adam Oxley who rewarded all coaches that left him on the ground despite copping the red vest last week. He collected 26 touches and took 11 marks for a game high 136. Skipper Scott Pendlebury did as he pleased, kicking two goals while setting up numerous others for 135 while Brodie Grundy continued his great form with 116. Fantasy Pig Dane Swanovercame an uncharacteristically slow start to get the job done with 104 despite carrying a leg injury into the game.

On The Radar

Jack Crisp and Taylor Adams (FWD/MID, $467,000) are playing themselves into Fantasy contention; especially as they both hold dual position status as FWD/MIDs. The young guns hold three game averages of 102 (BE: 46) and 103 (BE: 52) respectively and both look ripe for the picking.

Top 5 Scorers

  • Adam Oxley (DEF, $311,000) 136
  • Scott Pendlebury (MID, $599,000) 135
  • Brodie Grundy (RUC, $457,000) 116
  • Jack Crisp (FWD/MID, $443,000) 112
  • Dane Swan (FWD/MID, $551,000) 104

What’s Coming Up?

Last time the Pies met the Cats there were some uncharacteristic low scores, apart from Steele Sidebottom and Jamie Elliot who lead the way with 126 and 108. Pendles was tagged to 94 and Swanny reached 90, but expect both of them to carry their good form into this week and ton up.
