Taylor Adams is poised to notch his 50th senior game when Collingwood meets Gold Coast this Saturday.

While he is still making his mark as a Magpie, Adams played 31 games for Greater Western Sydney in the first two years of the club’s history.

It leaves him on the verge of his half century at just 21 years of age.

In the early rounds of 2015, Adams has relished his chance to fill the gaps left by the departures of Luke Ball and Dayne Beams.

After seven games, Adams is averaging 26.00 disposals per outing (behind only Dane Swan and Scott Pendlebury), ranks second for contested possessions and third for clearances.

PLAYER PROFILE: Taylor Adams.

Adams enjoyed a solid first season as a Magpie in 2014, warming to the task as the year wore on, averaging 19.1 disposals and 2.7 clearances in 12 games.

A finger tendon injury ended his season a month out from the end of the home and away season, but a bright pre-season left him well placed to make an impact as one of Collingwood’s top line onballers in 2015.
