Collingwood star Jaidyn Stephenson is a late withdrawal from the Magpies' clash with reigning premier Richmond in their Marsh Community Series fixture at Wangaratta on Sunday.
The 21-year-old forward, who recently overcame a bout of glandular fever, pulled out of the hitout against the Tigers for personal reasons.
Stephenson's replacement is the club's top draftee Jay Rantall, a former Australian under-17s basketballer and a hard-running midfielder from South Warrnambool who has won both of the club's time trials this pre-season.
Rantall will join fellow draftee and playmaker Trent Bianco and former Sydney ruckman Darcy Cameron in making their first official appearances for Collingwood.
Pies star Jordan de Goey will also feature in the contest after coming under scrutiny for his conditioning this pre-season.
Meanwhile, Richmond small forward Jack Higgins will play his first game since receiving risky brain surgery in September, with the Tigers going into the clash as named on Friday night.
