Collingwood is well represented in the 2020 AFL Women's All-Australian squad with five selections – the most of any team.
Jaimee Lambert, Brianna Davey, Brit Bonnici, Sharni Layton and Stacey Livingstone all find themselves in contention to make the final 21-member team that is set to be announced at the W Awards later this year.
All five players impressed throughout the 2020 season with numerous best on ground performances.
Lambert proved most consistent for the Pies averaging 22 disposals across the season. Her performance against Fremantle was a personal best collecting 32 disposals, eight tackles and a goal.
This is the midfielder's third occasion in the All-Australian squad and follows her recent inclusion in the 2020 AFLW Team of the Year.
Joining the Magpies this season, Brianna Davey was dominant in the midfield averaging 21 disposals and five tackles. This is also her third nomination for the All-Australian side.
Foundation Magpie Brit Bonnici ran out for her best season yet. The 23-year-old proved a crucial ball-winner for Pies averaging 20 disposals.
Sharni Layton showed great improvement in 2020 and established herself as a leading ruck within the competition having averaged an impressive 17 hit-outs. She also managed to put her first major on the board.
Stacey Livingstone was pivotal down back averaging five contested marks while also finishing the season with a total of 39 intercept possessions. She was also named in the 2020 AFLW Team of the Year.
The 40-player squad includes players from all 14 AFLW sides.
The initial squad was selected by a panel consisting of Nicole Livingston, Sarah Black, Tim Harrington and Shelley Ware.
