Star midfielder Steele Sidebottom will be Collingwood’s representative in Big Freeze 6.
The Big Freeze has a different look this year due to the COVID-19 restrictions, and Sidebottom is one of 18 current AFL players who have agreed to perform an ice challenge in support of FightMND.
The exact nature of Sidebottom’s challenge is yet to be revealed, but it will be filmed and will form part of a one-hour special presentation on Channel 7 on the Queen’s Birthday Monday.
Founded in 2014, FightMND was established with the purpose of finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.
