Thomas to contest striking charge
The young Magpie will not face suspension even if found guilty of the level one offence
Magpie Dale Thomas will face the tribunal tonight to contest a striking charge handed down by the AFL match review panel.Thomas was charged with striking Essendon’s Paddy Ryder in last Wednesday’s Anzac Day clash. It was only classified as a level one offence, meaning he will receive 80 demerit points and a reprimand if found guilty. He is not facing suspension.
