Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott will be available for selection against Adelaide on Saturday.

The 28-year-old has ticked all the boxes since fracturing his right fibula in Round 2, while Brodie Grundy's return to play will not be for a number of weeks after suffering a pinched nerve against Geelong.

The Pies ruckman will consult a specialist in the coming days to determine an exact timeline for a return, which is expected to be after the bye round.

See below for the full injury report, presented by AIA Vitality.

Jamie Elliott (lower leg) - Available for selection

  • On track to return. Elliott has freshened up the last couple of days and will be available for selection against Adelaide.

Josh Thomas (ankle) - Available for selection

  • A 6-day turnaround too quick for Thomas' rolled ankle against Port Adelaide. Expected to train fully and be available for selection against Adelaide.

Mason Cox (larynx) - Expected return: Test

  • Bruised larynx from a training knock. Currently doing non-contact football training, hoping to get approval from specialist to join full training and potentially be available for selection if he ends up training fully.

Beau McCreery (calf) - Expected return: Test

  • Completed solid session on Saturday. McCreery will aim to train fully this week and is a slight chance to be available for selection.

Taylor Adams (knee) - Expected return: 2-3 weeks

  • Adams had an incident late in the game against Port Adelaide, unrelated to the initial injury. Scans revealed a minor tear which will need work over the next fortnight.

Tyler Brown (shoulder) - Expected return: TBA

  • Dislocated shoulder during training last week. Brown is awaiting advice from a specialist to determine if surgery is required. This is the third time Brown has experienced an issue with this shoulder in the last two months. If surgery isn't required a cautious approach will be taken which would be a 4-5 weeks return to play.

Levi Greenwood (concussion) - Expected return: TBA

  • Ongoing concussion symptoms. Currently taking part in low level conditioning and non-contact football training. Updates will be provided when we have them.

Brodie Grundy (neck) - Expected return: 2-3 weeks

  • Awaiting further advice from specialist to determine return to play from whiplash incident that caused a pinched nerve.

Jeremy Howe (hamstring) - Expected return: 7 weeks

  • Wound healing well. Howe will start to begin low level running.

Reef McInnes (ankle) - Expected return: 6-8 weeks

  • One more week in the moon boot. From there will ramp up training quite quickly.
