A date for the 2021 NAB AFL Women’s Draft has been locked in.

The draft will be held on Tuesday, July 27, at 6.45pm AEST, with the Draft Nomination period to open on Monday, June 21 and close on Friday, July 9. 

Currently Collingwood will enter the draft with picks 29, 32 and 33, with the final Draft order to be confirmed on Friday, June 25 following the final list lodgement for AFLW clubs. 

The AFLW Draft remains State-based with players who nominate for the Draft electing the State they wish to play in. 

The AFL said it will continue to closely monitor the COVID situation across the country and aims to confirm details of the 2021 Draft event in the coming weeks.

Closes on Wednesday July 21, 2.00pm
