Chloe McMillian is continuing her role as head coach after a successful 2021 season. Unfortunately, the Grand Final never got to be played due to COVID-19, however Collingwood were undefeated for the entire of the 2021 season.

Joining McMillian this year are three assistant coaches; Marie Napoli, Emma Kent and Martha Cantwell and a specialist coach and opposition analysis, Brett Alexander.

Kent and Alexander were part of the coaching team for the VFLW side in 2021.

In 2021, Martha Cantwell was part of the Coaching Acceleration program and was also the co-coach of Melbourne University. Marie Napoli is currently coaching through the Coaching Acceleration program with the AFLW team this year.

Joining the squad in 2022 includes former inaugural Williamstown player Danica Pedersen. After being in the VFLW Team of the year in 2019, Pederson is a key forward who continues to be a strong marking target.

Grace Master and Nyakoat Dojiok both join Collingwood from VIC Country as Under 19 players in the NAB League. Monique Dematteo joins Collingwood from Essendon’s VFLW team in 2019 after taking last season off.

Amy Kane and Shanel Camilleri both come from a soccer background and look to continue their athleticism and professionalism in another code.

Former NTFL Best and Fairest winner Rhiannon Busch has come to Melbourne after living and playing in Darwin. Busch has played for NTFL clubs Palmerston Magpies and Southern Districts Football Club and has also represented the NT Thunder and NT Kites.
