Collingwood defender Tarni White has been named in the 2026 AFLW All-Australian Squad, earning consecutive selections following another impressive season in the black and white.
The recognition builds on a breakout 2025 season, in which White established herself as one of the Pies’ most influential players across half-back, finishing second in the Club’s AFLW Best and Fairest count.
After earning her maiden All-Australian squad selection last season, White returned in 2026 determined to take her game to the next level.
The 25-year-old averaged 21.8 disposals, totalling 38 tackles and 444.7 metres gained. Among other defenders in the competition, White led in contested possessions (90), second in disposals (262) and was equal third in intercept possessions (99) across the league.
Her standout performance came against the Gold Coast SUNS in Round 5, collecting 29 disposals and 14 intercepts, while gaining 642 metres.
Collingwood’s Executive General Manager of Women’s Football Jess Burger said:
“We’re incredibly proud of Tarni and what she has achieved this season. To earn back-to-back selections is a fantastic accomplishment and a reflection of the level she continues to perform at,” Burger said.
“Her ability to read the game and be impactful has been a real strength of hers. She has consistently stood up against some of the best players in the competition, which speaks volumes about the player she has become.
“Tarni is always looking for ways to improve. Her work ethic and commitment to getting better every day are what set her apart, and it’s great to see that recognised.”
