After a disappointing loss to Carlton in round six, Collingwood look to bounce back this weekend.

The round seven match will be played at the AIA Centre at 10am and will also be part of a double header with Collingwood’s VFL team.

Making their comeback this weekend are AFLW listed players Jordan Membrey and Joanna Lin. Both are returning from long-term injuries; Jordan playing for the first time since tearing her ACL just over a year ago.

After injuring her shoulder in the semi-final of the VFLW season in 2021, Lin injured her shoulder and has been on the inactive list for the 2022 AFLW season.

Back in the side this week are AFLW listed Bella Smith, Eloise Chaston and Olivia Meagher. Olivia Meagher joins the side following a concussion sustained in round one. Meagher, following a successful 2021 in the VFLW side will bring endurance and versatility into the team.

Danica Pedersen will be back in the team after an injury sustained in round five before the bye.

Collingwood are currently at three wins and three losses for the season so far. Casey Demons have not lost a game so far and are sitting at the top of the ladder, so it will be challenge that the team are ready to face.

After a few injuries and players out due to Health and Safety Protocols, the side is looking in great form for this weekend.

The round seven match against Casey will kick off at 10am and will be free entry. The game will be streamed via the new VFLW streaming platform at https://vflw.tv/.
