Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury has been withdrawn from the round eight clash against the Western Bulldogs due to illness.

Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury has been withdrawn from the round eight clash against the Western Bulldogs due to illness.

The 34-year-old is expected to return to training next week.

In the absence of Pendlebury, Jeremy Howe will captain the side on Friday night.
