COLLINGWOOD defender Harry O'Brien has put his hand through a pane of glass and will miss the club's NAB Cup opener.
The 25-year-old required stitches and didn't train at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday.
Coach Nathan Buckley described the weekend mishap as a "freak accident."
