Three of Collingwood’s emerging young talent have been selected in the AFLPA’s 2022 22Under22 team.

Isaac Quaynor, who has been selected for a second year, and first time positions Jack Ginnivan and Nick Daicos, represented Collingwood who had the second highest representation in the team across the competition.

Since his debut in Round 16 in 2019, Quaynor has played 56 games half back for the Pies and has averaged 15 disposals per game.

In his second AFL year, Ginnivan’s smarts around goals has been a constant narrative. The 19-year-old has kicked 42 goals across 25 games.

Daicos, Collingwood’s first pick in the 2021 AFL national draft, has emerged as one of the sides highest disposal collectors averaging 26 per game. The 18-year-old has played every game since his Round 1 debut and was rewarded with a Rising Star nomination following his performance in Round 3.

As it stands, Collingwood’s list has 20 players aged 22 years and under who are in the formative stages of their careers.
