The AFL has today released the dates and times for Round 10 of the 2022 NAB AFLW Season Seven Competition.

The final round of the home and away season will kick off on Friday night with Carlton hosting the Western Bulldogs at IKON park before ladder-leaders the Brisbane Lions face Collingwood at Metricon Stadium in a match that may potentially shape the top four.

St Kilda will host the Adelaide Crows at RSEA Park on Saturday, with the potential for both clubs to be vying for a top eight and top four finish respectively.

North Melbourne will host Richmond at Arden Street on Sunday, with the result likely to have a bearing on the what the final eight will look like.

The AFL has also advised that the Round Nine AFLW match between the Adelaide Crows and Geelong Cats will now be played at Unley Oval at 5:10pm local / 5:40pm AEDT.

The subsequent match between the Gold Coast SUNS and Carlton will now start at 6.40pm local / 7:40pm AEDT.

Tickets for Round 10 will go on-sale on Tuesday 18 October 2022. Kids can attend for free, with adult ticket prices frozen at $10.

General Manager Women’s Football Nicole Livingstone OAM said the final round of the Season Seven competition would be a suitable way to finish the season, while also spring-boarding the league into their first eight-team finals series.

“The Round 10 fixture is a fitting conclusion to a remarkable home and away season and a perfect lead to Week One of the AFLW Finals series,” Livingstone said.

“If the matches are anything like we witnessed last weekend, with four matches decided by four points or less, then I am sure it will be one of the best rounds of the season.

AFL EGM Clubs, Finance and Broadcasting Travis Auld thanked the industry for what has already been a great season.

“On behalf of the AFL, I want to thank all our passionate fans. I’d also like the acknowledge all 18 clubs, the AFLPA, coaches, umpires, officials, broadcasters, venues, state and territory governments and corporate partners on what has been a terrific season already,” Auld said.

“We’ve seen fantastic contests across six rounds already, and I have no doubt that the remaining four rounds and four weeks of finals will be just as spectacular.”
