The trade, involving St Kilda, Brisbane, North Melbourne, Gold Coast and Collingwood, sees the Pies receive Pick 14 which was given from the Saints.

Following her debut season with Brisbane in 2017, Membrey was selected by the Pies with Pick 51 at the 2018 Draft.

Across her five seasons in the black and white, Membrey played 23 games for the Club, booted a total of 13 goals and was the Club’s Leading Goalkicker in 2020.

Collingwood’s Head of Women’s Football Jess Burger thanked Membrey for her contribution to the program.

“We understand that Jordan was looking for an opportunity to return to her home state in Queensland to be with her family and we respect her decision,” Burger said.

“We appreciate all Jordan has given and brought to our program and wish her well in her return home.

“Through this trade, we’ve been able to acquire Pick 14 which puts us in a stronger position ahead of the upcoming draft and ensures we can secure top, emerging talent.”

Earlier this week, Collingwood announced the commitment of 27 players to its list for the 2023 season.

The AFLW Sign and Trade Period will close on Monday, March 20 at 5pm.
