In the team’s first away trip for 2023, Will Kelly (injured) and Reef McIness (AFL) make way for Tom Wilson (56) and Ben Silvagni, who both return to the side after missing Collingwood’s 52-point win against Port Melbourne.

The trip will make a memorable experience for VFL and AFL listed players alike, who are travelling to Brisbane together.

With strong individual performances across the board, 2023 draftees Ed Allan and Jakob Ryan impressed AFL Head Coach Craig McRae in last week’s win.

“I must admit, Jakob Ryan and Ed Allan looked really impressive. Those two are going to be really good for us in the future,” said McRae.

“I really love both of those lads. They’ll play AFL footy this year if the opportunity presents. They’re playing at a level that just asks questions.”

Collingwood go into the match undefeated, kicking 43 goals across the first two rounds, with scores of 141 and 134 points against Coburg and Port Melbourne respectively.
