Collingwood is pleased to announce Mason Cox, Ash Johnson and Harvey Harrison have all signed new deals with the Club.

All three players have penned fresh two-year deals to remain Magpies until at least the end of 2025.

Cox, who is now set to be a Pie for life, was selected with Pick 60 as an International Rookie in the 2015 AFL National Draft.

The 211-centimetre ruckman was elevated to the Club’s Senior List in 2017 and went on to make his memorable AFL debut on ANZAC Day in 2016.

Across his nine seasons in the black-and-white, Cox has run out for 107 games booting 115 goals.

Taken with Pick Three, Johnson was Collingwood’s first selection in the 2021 Mid-Season Rookie Draft.

A proud Gija / Jaru / Bunuba man, Johnson became Collingwood’s 18th First Nations player to make their debut for the Club when he ran out for his first AFL game in Round 18 of the 2022 season.

The Halls Creek product has since run out for 23 AFL games - 14 of those in 2023 - booting a total of 36 goals.

Drafted to Collingwood with Pick 52 in the 2021 National AFL Draft, Harrison made his AFL debut in Round 12 last season.

The South Australian midfielder has since made four AFL appearances in 2023 and has three goals to his name.

Collingwood’s General Manager of Football Graham Wright congratulated the trio on their new deals.

“We’re delighted to have Mason, Ash and Harvey commit to our Club for a further two seasons”, Wright said.

“All three have showed great improvement and dedication to their football craft.

“Mason’s unique journey is well-documented but what he has been able to achieve across his eight seasons in the AFL is to be commended.

“Ash’s journey is also one that has featured a determination and will to improve and when you combine that with his natural talent, his football future is exciting.

“Harvey impressed over the pre-season which set himself up for more opportunity at AFL level this year. He continues to improve and we look forward to supporting his development over the coming years.

“We’re excited about the future of all three players and look forward to seeing their contributions to our Club both on and off field.”

Today’s contract news follows the recent re-signings of John Noble, Beau McCreery and Jakob Ryan which were announced by the Club yesterday.
