Collingwood has named its extended squad for Sunday’s Round Two NAB AFLW clash against Fremantle at Victoria Park.

Head Coach Steve Symonds has made two changes to the side that took on Melbourne in last Friday’s season opener, with Imogen Barnett and Emily Smith coming into the squad for Eliza James (foot) and Erica Fowler (Omitted).

James suffered a syndesmosis injury to her left ankle during the Round One clash and didn’t finish the game. The forward is expected to be out of action for four to six weeks as a result.

Ruck Imogen Barnett comes into the squad after playing in three games in Season Six and eight games in Season Seven, including both of Collingwood’s Finals in Season Seven.

Former Women’s Big Bash League Cricketer Emily Smith will play her second AFLW game if selected in the side for Sunday’s first home game for 2023.

The final side will be announced on Friday September 8 at 5pm.

Alongside Sunday’s clash there will be plenty of fun on offer for the whole family at Victoria Park, including:

  • Food Festival
  • Good Tides Bar
  • AIA Vitality Wellness Zone
  • Beanbag Hill
  • DJ Apples

Tickets are on sale now for Sunday’s clash.
