Collingwood 2023 draftee Harry DeMattia is expected to spend an extended period of time on the sidelines with a finger injury.

The 18-year-old sustained the injury to the ring finger on his right-hand during training on Monday.

He is expected to consult with a surgeon tomorrow.

“This is an unfortunate setback for Harry who injured his finger during a training drill on Monday,” Collingwood’s EGM Football Graham Wright said.

“Whilst he is expected to be sidelined for an 8–12-week period, Harry will still be able to participate in running drills and a gym program.”
