Collingwood's VFL side are back in action at Victoria Park on Sunday, looking to follow on from their thrilling 11-point win over the previously undefeated GWS last weekend on the Pies' home deck.

VFL head coach Andy Otten has made a host of changes to the side this week, with off-season VFL recruit Ryan Eyre set to don the black and white stripes for the first time alongside former Essendon VFL teammate Michael Kiraly, who returns to the side following his debut against Footscray in Round 6.

After a late change in the AFL saw Wil Parker and Oleg Markov recalled into the side, Angus Seivers and Conor Willis are late inclusions in the side set to face North Melbourne's VFL side on Sunday.

Joining them on the inclusions list is Boston Dowling, who played two games at the back end of last season and will play at VFL level for the first time in 2025, with the 204cm 20-year-old adding to the Pies' impressive key position and ruck stocks.

Brady Grey (managed), Tew Jiath (injury), Rod Ali (omitted), Oleg Markov (AFL) and Will Hayes (AFL debut) are the five players who go out of last week's side.

Elsewhere, experienced midfielder Tom Mitchell will continue to ramp up his playing time in what will be his third consecutive game on return from injury. The 31-year-old wound up with 21 disposals and 13 tackles in a strong showing last weekend.

Midfielder Harry DeMattia will be looking to continue his strong form, with the 19-year-old earning his first VFL Coach's MVP nod of the season last week following his 20-contested possession and eight-inside 50 game against the GIANTS.

Charlie West (19 goals) and Riley Mason (17 goals) will continue to be the focal points in attack, while small forward Harry Mahoney has continued his impressive start to his VFL career.

Debuting in Round 8 last season, Mahoney has missed selection only once since, and averages a goal a game from his 17 career starts so far.

The fifth-placed Pies will be looking to build on a strong 5-2 start to the season, with North Melbourne in similarly good shape in sixth position on the ladder.
