First year forward Charlie West will make his AFL debut in this weekend's Round 16 clash against the West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium.

The 19-year-old has been knocking down the door since his first game in black and white back in March, having kicked 25 goals from 10 VFL appearances this year.

His standout moment was a career-high six-goal haul last weekend against the Sandringham Zebras, topped off by his after the siren heroics.

Drafted at pick 50 in the 2024 National Draft, the South Australian came in alongside Joel Cochran and Will Hayes - the latter of which became the Pies' first debutant earlier this season.

Known for his strong hands and size despite still being a teenager, West will showcase his strengths under the roof at Marvel Stadium this year.

The Pies will select their full team for the clash with the Eagles on Thursday evening.
